Attention New Shooters:

There has been a significant rise in new gun buyers caused by the Covid-19 scare and the civil uprising across the country by rioters.

Many new firearms owners have questions and concerns on how to use their new firearm and what they can do legally to defend themselves and their families.

Max Creek Outdoors and Mad City Firearms Training have combined forces and are offering a three part handgun training program specifically designed to fulfill your needs.

Part 1 - Topics will include: range rules, firearms safety/proper handling, different types of handguns/how they function, basic shooting principals. Course concludes with live fire shooting.

Part 2 - Topics from part 1 are reaffirmed along with an in depth concentration on the shooting principals or stance, grip, sight alignment/acquisition and trigger control. 

Part 3 - Provides you with the knowledge to obtain your Wisconsin and Non-Resident Florida Concealed Carry License. Providing you with knowledge on Self-Defense and Castle Doctrine along with topics you just will not see or hear in other ccw courses being offered.

Parts 1 & 2 are limited to 12 students for each date offered.

All Covid-19/social distancing measure will be used to provide a safe learning experience.

What you will need:

- valid drivers license or identification card

- handgun, magazine(s)

- eye and ear protection (can be purchased or rented at the range)

- 100 rounds/factory practice ammunition (part 1)

- 150 rounds/factory practice ammunition (part 2)

     - no reloaded ammunition, metal cased or metal projectiles allowed 

     - ammunition may be purchased at the range

Please Note: Wisconsin Concealed Carry Classes are open to anyone, age 21 and over, with no prior felony or domestic violence convictions. Mad City Firearms Training does not perform background checks, but the Wisconsin Department of Justice will complete a full check before a permit is issued.

Mad City Firearms Training LLC views firearm safety as priority one.

Consider all firearms loaded. If bringing a firearm to live range training, please check unloaded firearm with course instructor immediately upon arrival. Firearms must be in properly maintained and safe firing condition. If bringing ammunition please bring only factory loaded ammunition of proper caliber and load rating for your firearm.

Please bring photo identification, note taking material, snacks and water you may wish to have with you during the training course. If you have any pricing questions or the training course you wish to register for is scheduled within 5 days, please call Gary at 608.824.9321 to register. Mad City Firearms Training can only accept cash, check or money order at this time.

If the class you register for is filled or cancelled, or if you cancel at least 30 days prior to your class, I will fully refund your tuition, or you may apply it to another of my classes. Please note I do not offer refunds within 30 days of your class.  If you must cancel you will receive credit toward any class offered by Mad City Firearms Training in the next 12 months.
